Lasu extends second semester examinations by2 weeks lasu makes provision for 8,000 hostel bed space

On Tuesday, 3rd October 2023, the Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, held a first-of-its-kind Media Chat with student journalists, and influencers and bloggees.9to mark her second anniversary in office. Here are ten highlights of the Chat👇 1. LASU Bottled Water is in the pipeline. The facility is set and only NAFDAC approval is being awaited to commence production; 2. A section of the 8,000 bed Students Hostel financed by Lagos State Government is completed and ready for allocation. Students will start getting hostel spaces from next session. 3. The Vice Chancellor approved the provision of free transportation for students between LASU Iba Gate and Iyana-School, morning and evening, daily. This is a measure to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal on the students. 4. The Vice Chancellor announced an extension of the Second Semester for an additional 2 Weeks. Exams will now commence mid of November, 2023 5. Examination results of Sandwich Degree Programmes are being collated and would be released shortly. 6. Examination results of full time students for the first semester would be available from Saturday, 7th October 2023 7. In response to the issue of overcrowded classes, the Vice Chancellor announced that the University has adopted hybrid (physical and online) mode of teaching for large classes. The University is already making provision for facilities to support hybrid teaching. 8. WorkStudy Scheme is already being implemented in the University. Students can volunteer to work and get stipends in various centres in the University. 9. Plans by the University to co-host the African Universities Games with the University of Lagos is ongoing. The competition will come up later, next year (2024). 10. The VC expressed her love and interest in her students and their growth. She promised to always give them listening ears and to ensure that they have a rewarding learning experience in the university. Adventures in the forest of a thousand daemon stage play. Which held in Lagos State University yesterday the Movie was.directed by Audu Israel and Awos Awos temilade. The led role was led by a great star, in person of Adeoye Adelakun Moses. The man who stands for greatness I actually enjoyed this play it was encouraging fun moments. Also learnt to support ourselves in every circumstance we face in life but at the end of it all he was celebrated by his people he overcame what he faced in the forest. That’s why it’s called Adventures in the forest of a thousand daemon.

Today at Lagos State University i went to watch a stage play called adventures of a thousand daemons  directed

 by Audu Israel stage manger by Awos Awos Temilade the lead role by our darling president. Comrade Adeoye Adelakun Moses a great man that supports good things.

This play i learnt a lot about life you need to sacrifice a lot of things here we have a great star in Lagos State University in person of Adeoye Adelakun Moses a man that believes in hardwork and not giving up in his dreams he supports people and their career this stage play passed a lot of messages. he said that we shouldn’t give up in life we need to be together we need to support each other as friends when we fall we fall 

together and we raise again Adeoye never gave up in this play that is why the play is called Adventures of a thousand daemons and at the end of it all he won and he was celebrated by his people 🎬👩‍💻 

A short history of Eko Atlantic

 The Eko Atlantic was filed with water for several years according. To  what I heard the water Was bought by the government and Eko Atlantic as well it’s actually owned by both Eko Atlantic and our government. And when they got the land. They made sure the water was dried completely before it was sand filled and it actually cost 12billion naira it’s going to be an Estate in the next 5 or 6yrs according to what I heard 12billion naira is their actual budget. It’s going to be an Estate there’s An apartment for the staffs of Eko Atlantic and total works. When the go on break there’s a particular place where they hang out for exercise etc. so my land owners it’s another opportunity for you to secure one now before it’s to late.

What does it mean to be a confident woman?

In the midst of those that look down on each other it takes. A lot women should be happy women should be the, back bone of each other we stop the hate we should stop. The envy and be kind to ourselves and we should learn To. Be one another’s support system instead of body shaming each. Other let’s stop the hate stop the bullying as well. We should each other love and care. Kick against bullying and body shaming women be a confident woman.✨🥂✊🏾
